Hi Meltdown, and everyone else who has joined!
I'm MrsValden. I was on the MSN group, but under a different username. But I haven't posted there in a while, so I'm sure you don't remember me anyway.
I've been playing Animal Crossing games since 2003. That's when I started playing the GameCube version, and I was instantly in love.
I was never a big video game player before that. I played a lot on our Atari 2600 (I'm 36.) But once I was in college, I didn't pay much attention to video games. Until I met my husband, the biggest video game freak known to man. He plays video games constantly. And he suggested Animal Crossing to me. I waited until I had some time after I finished my Master's Degree, and I started. And I haven't stopped since.
I put the GameCube version on the back burner when ACWW came out. I've played it practically every day since it's come out. I'm still trying to complete my catalog, because I am a completist. But I've never been able to shoot down Gulliver, and I'm about to give up and get some of the items from my friends.
I must admit I'm greatly looking forward to ACCF though, because I really want Animal Crossing back on a console. I love ACWW, but I wish it was on a console. I have old and tired eyes, and looking at the DS makes them older and more tired. I've had problems with my thumb and my neck from playing a handheld. I've never been a fan of handhelds. So I'm so excited to have Animal Crossing come to the Wii.
I guess that's enough for now.
Thanks so much for setting up this new site, Meltdown. I belong to another forum hosted by this forum site, and I love the set-up. It's so easily maneuvered and well laid out.
Thanks again, and I hope to be more active here. I have to try not to spend too much time on the internet, but it's hard sometimes.
