So Halloween is a month away. What is everyone planning to do? (If you celebrate it.) If you dress up who or what are you going as? I'm gonna be the Queen of Hearts and my bff is going to be Alice. I made both her dress and mine. I can't wait to wear it! I'll just be at home handing out candy, but I've got the coolest house on the street at Halloween.

That sounds pretty kewl. Not sure what my daughters are going to dress as, pretty much limited to what we can piece together with what made it with us in the move. lol
We are going to decorate the house and have a fog machine set up on our front porch for the Trick-or-Treaters to have to walk through, heh heh.
Hopefully the outdoor mall in our town will sponsor a trick-or-treat event like the mall in our last town used to do.

Yay! Halloween was lots of fun. My house was once again the scariest and coolest one on the block. I had to take some pics. (I made our outfits yay! They worked so well.)
**Sorry, I had to get rid of the pics. My website is being a pain.**

Thanks!! I worked really hard on the costumes. I have made 2 other costumes for male friends of mine, but I had never done girls costumes. (Well I did make half of my wedding dress) I made Alice first and I had half a Dorothy pattern. The top of the pinafore was the pattern. I only used a pattern for the top of my dress and the sleeves. I'm so glad it worked out I just love decorating too. I just add something new every year.

A little late, but for Halloween I was "I love Lucy" and my 13 yr. old was Napolean Dynamite, my 9 yr. old girl was a japansese girl, and my 7 yr. old boy was a dancing chicken. He wore a sign around his neck that said "Will dance for candy" - it was very cool, we put the chicken dance on his Sansa Shaker and he would dance to the music. He got a lot of extra candy!
