French gaming website Gamekyo has posted some new pictures of AC:CF here. There are some screenshots along with scans of the Japanese Famitsu magazine. Not too many new things have been revealed, but you can get a nice look at some of the buildings. Some Observations: - K.K. is confirmed to still play in the Roost (coffee shop). - Some new items are shown in some of the scans, including a duck bill. - There appears to be two new furniture series. - I can't tell if the fish shown in one picture is a zebra turkeyfish or some new fish. - Is it just me, or does the town gate in one of the screenshots look a bit different? Perhaps there are different styled town gates in this game? - Does Blathers' position in the museum seem "closer" towards the entrance? The museum seems bigger to me in one of the pictures. - Rover apparently appears on the bus at some times. - It seems they have made some modifications to the "dog villager" model, based on Goldie's artwork. Update with new pictures (10/1)

I like one of the new themes, with the boys canopy bed, and the red/black/gold color scheme. I also like how each persons word bubbles appear over their character, but not sure how this will work when everyone isn't in the same area? Those who know me know that I don't follow my visitors around everywhere like they are thieves needing to be watched constantly, When I have visitors I usually have nothing to do so I just stand in front of my house and talk.
And it also appears that the town map now displays where visitors are. So much for 'hide n seek' games. LOL I like the idea of locator's on the map, now when someone says "come here" I know where 'here' is.
but I am disappointed to see the Able sisters shop is still as tiny as always. would be much nicer if more than 8 designs could be displayed.

Oh new flowers! I love the flowers. It took so long to get that single blue rose... I can't wait to play this.

I also love the flowers and hybrids! I was so excited when I got a blue rose! And then I screwed up and forgot to water it! Grrr!!!

Oh no! Poor rose. I had to get rid of every flower in town just to breed that blue rose of mine and now it sits nicely in my house, with all my snowman furniture. I have tons of black and pink roses. They seem to breed the best, but I just love hybridizing the flowers!

I totally agree. Hybridizing (like that word, by the way) is my favorite part of ACWW. I have a big flower garden, and I've lost so many hybrids from forgetting to water. I have a stupid pattern of watering my flowers, and for some reason I leave my hybrid garden to last. And if I get distracted, I sometimes forget it. Dumb, dumb, dumb!! I should just go do it first, right? That would be smart...and I don't always claim to be smart. I should've put it in my house, but I loved it so much I wanted to see it outside. Now I'm trying to get another one. I also love the blue pansies...luckily they are easier to get.

Yea, nothing is as hard as the blue rose. I love the blue flowers, they're so pretty. All of my special ones are right outside my house and as it is, are the only ones I even bother to water. All the rest manage on their own. I keep one of every type of hybridized flower in my house. It make the house feel homey.

I am trying for the "perfect town" so I have given up on breeding flowers right now. I just put a whole bunch of flowers every where so on the 20th (hopefully I get the watering can that day) I am going to revamp the whole town. Although a few hybrids have popped up without me doing anything (and it rained in the game for 2 days so yay I didn't have to water anything lol) But I looked at every single picture on that site and it makes me want it even more. I don't know if I am going to get the Wii speak right away. I don't really know anyone to Wi-Fi with so I just don't really mess with it too much. I dson't know if I can wait til Christmas to go get the game tho!! I also wanted to ask you, when you have friends over to your town (or you go to theirs) what do you do? Do you guys have like contests and stuff? I have had only a handful of people come to mine and all they want to do is look around, buy stuff from the shops, and leave. lol I am just curious what everyone does when they have visitors.

I've only ever had my best friend and my cousin visit my town. I only recently got wi-fi and I haven't got to try it out. Mostly we just hope to get the lost kitten so we can get the lost kitten items, but they're hard to get. Mostly we look around, buy stuff from the shop, have a fishing contest and then leave.

that's cool. The only person I actually KNOW with Animal Crossing is my 10 year old cousin. And go figure, she doesn't have Wi-Fi lol. It makes me kind of nervous to have strangers in my town. There are some evil people out there and you just never know who they are. But yeah. I was just curious what everyone does.

I belong to a small Yahoo Group that is only adults and most of us are online friends from years back, so we trust each other. We wifi'ed with each other for quite a few months after it came out. We would mostly just look in each others' shops, look at how each other decorated their houses, talk to the neighbors, do some fishing while chatting. We didn't do many contests, just fished and sold fish.
I agree about not wanting to trust people you don't know. It's totally understandable. There were a couple younger people who joined the group, and we found that they were stealing our hybrids, so we took them off our friends lists and booted them out of the group.
Some people just aren't trustworthy. But I agree with Mako that it's fun to get the Lost Kitten. There's still one Lost Kitten item I haven't gotten...I think it's the Apple TV. But we have 2 DS's and 2 towns, so I travel back and forth now and then to try to get the Kitten.

I think I have the Apple Tv... I only have three things from the kitten anyway. Every time I play with my friend, she goes home and the next day she gets the cat. I'm a little worried about wi-fi. I don't want someone to come to my town and chop all my trees down and take all my flowers. That wouldn't be nice at all. My friend Mike actually had someone go to his town and chop all his trees down.

Hopefully everyone will enjoy meeting new friends using our 'Friend Code' list here on the group.
We have had great success so far with our more secure list of friends, than most sites that just let everyone who wants to add their info.
on the MSN branch of the group I have blocked people from access to the list because I knew they were trouble makers.
I will also point out that even though there is alot of talk about 'evil seeders' and other trouble makers, they are still the minority of WiFi gamers. Since the game was launched I have had several hundred different people on my roster both visiting my town and I've visited their towns. and out of those hundreds I would say only about 20 were actually trouble. The sad thing is you often dont know until it is too late though. Which is why I started the secure friend code list. heh heh
Once I have WiFi back at my house, I will once again start opening my town gates for visitors from here to be able to visit when ever they want.
