Nintendo of North America apparently accidentally released the Street Date for AC:CF on their 'news' page. NOV. 16th is the magic date.here is a close up.

Just because you "reserve" something does not force you to purchase it there. especially if you find it cheaper somewhere else. (btw nintendo wont know what kind of deals the retailers will have.)
I can tell you from my experience with Gamestop when AC:WW came out, I reserved my game with them, and on launch day they didn't have it, and lied to me about the reason. (they tried to say that "Launch" date just means the day that Nintendo ships it out, the stores don't get it for another couple of days. HA HA HA) I got my money back from them and went and bought it at another store that did have it on "Launch Day".
Best thing to do is call each store that does take reservations and ask if they have a deal for reserving the game, and what their price is for reservations? The launches in two months, if they don't have a price yet, then that means they will most likely sell it at regular price.

All of the games that we reserve from GameStop come to the store the day after the release date. And we reserve a LOT. My husband goes in with his list every few months and reserves bunches. I believe at one time he had almost 30 games reserved. They love to see him coming.
One of the perks of not having children...we can spend our money on toys for us!

I wouldn't trust EB to have it on launch day, they were the company that lied to me trying to tell me that "launch date" was the day Nintendo sent it out, not the day the stores start selling it.
(EB is owned by Gamestop, they are the same company just different store names.)
Best bet is to shop around that morning.
