My Red Turnip Disappeared?

Yesterday, I had a dying Red Turnip buried in the ground and watered it with my Golden Watering Can. Today, it was gone. This has never happened before. I remember a couple months ago, when I played irregularly, that I had a single Red Turnip that I was watering for about three weeks because I wasn't there every day to water it. However, the one I had now is gone.

Although, now that I think about it, this case was only after I had set my Wii's clock back an hour...
