Halloween

:)I am just all a flutter anticipating the happenings tonight. A first Halloween so I do not know what to expect or what to do but not long now...

Unfortunately, it's been years since I participated in Animal Crossing's Halloween festivities. In fact, the last time was during the original GCN game. So, I forgot a few things.

This would be my first City Folk Halloween and couldn't have failed more. Only got 11 Candies because I kept forgetting. I lost one Candy to Sydney. I wondered if anything had changed about giving Candy to neighbors since the old days. Nope, nothing's changed - you get a thank you. Thus is the humble lesson of giving and not quite receiving.

Other details I also forgot include what happens when you don't give Candy. Unfortunately, I re-learned the hard way. Now I need a new Flame Shirt, a new Axe, and a new Fishing Rod. I think even one of my Candies turned into a Jack-in-the-Box. However, before starting the little quest, I did remember to stick the Candies in my letters.

It was a familiar outing in CF, even so it did take me a while to remember how the AC Halloween works! It was a hoot, I lost a few items as well and ran around for quite awhile in the Pumpkin Head and Patched Shirt before I figured out the costume thing. Not just any matching outfit was good enough though, they did like my Bunny outfit and the Witch outfit.
I managed to get all the items and a few extras as well.
Asrialys I'll check on my duplicates tomorrow and see if they are any that you need.

I haven't been able to play around with the connectivity stuff, so I don't know how Auctions work. Should we share our Friend Codes so that we can see each other's auctions? Don't think I have the Vogue Top, but I can probably pay some Bells for the items.

:)If we visit on wifi then our items should show up in the auction house. However if you would like pick up the items at my town or have me bring them to you that would be good too, as another person (though rare) may win a bid on an item you have your eye on!

The animals poofed it onto my head when I had no candy for them! Shocking...( I really like it though)

Finally! Got me the Spooky Clock. And only on the third candy. Series complete!

I was hoping I wouldn't have to waste too much candy, so I could save up for Festivale.

Since I already had the Spooky Set from

last year I just played for funsies, got a couple of extras from

Jack and did the Trick or Treat thing with the residents that

stayed in their houses, so fun.

Will have to find closet space for the left over candies!

Unfortunatly I did not have enough candy for the ACGC so did not

get a full set in my new town. Maybe next year! All in all it was

a good time in both games.
