Chapter One-Part One of Three A World Divided What was once the envy of all animal crossing towns, is now torn apart, and destroyed by war. Many of the animals know of the story, but do not dread to speak of it to anyone. For the Day of Doom is not a thing to be proud of. Over the next few chapters, I will be the first to disclose the information.

Chapter One-Part two of three What it once was The great city was a modern Utopia, it had the greatest things one could ever want. It had everything from endless money trees, to seemingly endless fields of golden flowers. The able sisters actually had gone through 3 upgrades, and Nook's store went through 7. Obviously the city was very wealthy, did I mention that the streets were lined with gold?

Chapter One-Part [glow=gold,2,300]Three of Three[/glow] What it is Today The great town is now a normal sized town that is actually quite poor, his store owner, who is not Nook since he ran out of business due to none of the townsfolk having money, actually only stocks medicine, flowers, and the occasional piece of paper, not the now common four pack. There is no tailor, the townsfolk usually are considered rich if they have an outfit made of rags. Gracie doesn't even stop at the town, being the stuck-up snob she is. The largest house is about half the size of the houses Nook builds for new buyers. Their town is pretty much broke, many people who have lived there don't even talk about when they did. Though many people prefer not to, there are still 4 people living there, trying to restore what it once was.

Chapter Two-Part one of Five
A time of Peace The peaceful town was known as Kironotopia. The town's dwellers would have festivals every Friday, since they had the money to do so. The citizens and workers of the town all lived in perfect harmony, and the town lived in harmony with all the other towns. The town has only needed an army once though throughout its entire existence.

Chapter Two-Part two of Five
The Cloaked Shadows OK, I lied, not all of the citizens like everyone. There was a group of havoc wreakers called the Cloaked Shadows. They had plotted how to destroy the town for nearly two years! But unfortunately their time of triumph had eventually come.

Chapter 2- Part three of five The first fault The "fearless" leader of Kironotopia, Tortimos, Tortimor's son, was a great mayor, or King as it was called then. Everyone but the Cloaked Shadows liked him. But he was growing old, and needed to take someone as his prince, to ensure that there would be a king when he was gone. When he chose the prince he taught him everything he needed to know, and when the king passed, the prince was made king, but what was not known to the king, was that his prince was a "General" in the Cloaked Shadows. *I've changed the name of my story, somehow i missed that one of Kitichan's stories was named the Kingdom that Ended It all. My story is now called Fallen: Golden City*

Chapter 2 - Part 4 of 5 Rising Shadows This general, known as Nightshade to the Cloaked Shadows, wasn't approved of by the people at first. But he vowed three things that ensured the loyalty of most of the town. The first thing was that he would live up to the expectations of Tortimos. The second was that he would bring even more prosperity to the town. The final vow, the one that gained him the most trust, was that he would bring the Cloaked Shadows to justice. Some still questioned him, but a majority of the town had giving him respect. However, no townsman could have known the true meaning of Nightshades vows, or the dire consequences of trusting him.

Chapter 2- part[glow=violet,2,300]five of five[/glow] Bringing out the Shadows Nightshade began to make good on his vow to bring the Cloaked Shadows to justice. However, despite the fact that everyone thought imprisonment for the shadows, that is definitely not what happened. One by one, Nightshade "captured" the members of the Cloaked Shadows. When he finally had every one of them, including the leader, he began putting his plan into action. He held a secret meeting with them, and then brought them out before the people. Announcing to the townsman that they are to be made a part of the royal guard. Each one of the members went to the balcony that the townsman were waiting by in turn. Each one of them giving a testimony on what their life has been like, and what they plan to do with the rest of their life, now that Nightshade has shown them mercy. The lies that they told were so beautifully spun together, the townsman couldn't remain angry at the Cloaked Shadows. They gave trust to they're life long enemies, another mistake they wont soon forget.

Chapter Three-Part One of Two The Enemy, Unvailed There was a short period of peace and prosperity, as Nightshade put the last pieces of his plan together. But, what he had not expected was a raid on his newly built castle. Nightshade was resting, weary from hours of working and plotting, when the unthinkable happened. A small, elite troop of animals, called Freedom Fighters, had gotten into the castle. While Nightshade slept, they took all of his plans. The leader, whose name had been lost to the ages, sat and waited for the king to wake, while the rest of his troop escaped with the plans.
