I haven't played in a while. According to one of my neighbors, I've been gone for about seven weeks. Needless to say, there were weeds and roaches there to welcome me back.

But there was also something new that surprised me. When you return to playing after being gone so long, your character will emerge from your home, looking groggy, and will take a big yawn. What's more is that their hair is a mess. Thus the inspiration for this gallery.

I don't know if the hair looks the same for all characters, but it'd be interesting to see other people's characters with unkempt hair.

Also try to take the picture with your character yawning! Unlike me...

Since I still have the hair, I think there's more to it than just being away for so long. This is probably the game's way of forcing players to actually go to the salon more often, since that seems to be the only solution to fixing it. I don't know about everyone else, but once I got the hair I liked in Wild World, I never returned.

So I'm thinking that if you stay away from the salon long enough, but still play often, this may happen.

I wonder if wearing a hat will do anything...

It is probably a combination of the two. Your hair probably doesn't get messed up until you are away from the game for a few days, but once it is messed up you have to go to the salon to fix it again.

I hope that the game doesn't automatically mess up the hair after a few days of playing forcing you to spend bells at the salon, otherwise most people would just have the same messed up hair all the time from refusing to waste their bells. lol

I would also love to hear other players experience with this feature.

i time travel alot so i get major bedhead I have found that a wig works wonders I only go get my hair done when there is an event to go to a party or want to change to color to match my mood.

I have found that if you do not play a person for a while you do get bed head not sure the time length but i will test it out for ya
