When you first start the game and asks what you want to do, DS suitcase is an option. What exactly is this for? I know that I could have taken my town and character from AC:WW for the DS to AC:CF to the Wii, but I decided to start my own. So is this of any use to me now?

the DS suitcase does not transfer your town. More info on how to use the DS suitcase below in "Reply #3".

Sorry you are wrong Melt. I use the DS suitcase all the time. I take my caractor to my daughters town this way. I go to the gate tell cooper that I want to go out with the suitcase. He tells me to turn on the ds and download the ds suitcase they communicate and My guy goes in the ds. I take the ds to the other Wii and start the game on that wii and tell Rover ds suitcase, I download the info on the other wii thru the ds and then I play in the other town. I do this now all the time. Just make sure you go back to your town so you dont lose all the info you had in the ds suitcase, all you letters, stuff and bells with dissapear.

I do this as well with my kids town on our other wii when there is something they want from me alot easier then dropping it off at a friends town changing wiis then going to the friends to pick it up.
