This thread will be where we can post rumors we have heard but need multiple people to confirm it is real before it can be added as an official tip.
I will attempt to add all current rumors to this first post and I will also add a T or F by each one once they are confirmed true or false.
RUMOR LIST:
Watering Fossils
If you have most fossils in your museum this trick is supposed to make sure that the fossil you dig up is one that you need.
Step 1: acquire a Silver Watering can.
Step 2: Find a fossil buried in the grown but don't dig it up yet.
Step 3: using the silver watering can water the spot where the fossil is buried.
Step 4: Dig up the fossil and once checked it will be a fossil you need.
Regrow Grass Quickly
Step 1: Time Travel to a summer month.
Step 2: Play the game for a few seconds (not walking on any of the areas you want grass to regrow) then save/quit
Step 3: TT to the next day, play for a few seconds (not walking on any of the areas you want grass to regrow) then save/quit
Step 4: Repeat step 3 for 5 or more days
Step 5: Once it has grown back as much as you want, then TT back to your normal time.
(How this works- Each day you play but dont walk on a worn out area, the grass starts to grow back slowly. it is quicker in Summer and Spring than it is in Fall and Winter. After several days of avoiding worn out areas you will notice grass growing back. Time Travel just makes this appear to be happing quicker as you are visiting several game days in once real day.)
