SNAPSHOT GUIDE:

Thankfully taking screenshots of AC:CF/AC:LgttC is infinately easier than it has been for the previous 2 versions of the games.
Nintendo has decided to include the ability to take screenshots (or as they call them "Snapshots") as part of the games design.

This guide shows how to take snapshot/screenshots on AC:CF/AC:LgttC as well as how to transfer them to your computer and then share them online.


Requirements:
a) Wii
b) AC:CF/AC:LgttC
c) SD card
d) SD card reader or SD card slot on your computer.

Controls:
(1) button - Take snapshot
(2) button - Access snapshot view/save screen
(B) button - Hold (B) hides on screen displays for a better screenshots.

Taking a Snapshot:
First make sure your SD card is in your Wii. (SD card slot is on the front of the Wii in the door next to the disc slot)
Snapshots can be taken almost anywhere in the game. when ever you feel like taking a picture press the (1) button. (if you want a clear picture without the clock or menu showing hold (B) while you press (1) button)
Now press the (2) button to take you to the View/Save screen and save the snapshot you just took. (if you do not save the picture it will be deleted next time you take a snapshot.)
Snapshots are automatically stored on your SD card.

NOTE: if you do not have a SD card the game will hold 1 snapshot on your character as long as you are playing. You can send this snapshot to friends in a letter using the in game Post Office but once the game is turned off the snapshot will be lost.


Transfer Snapshot:
Simply remove the SD card from the Wii and insert it in your Computer SD card slot(or Card Reader if required).
Now you access the SD card (usually through "My Computer").
Open the SD card and copy/cut the images and store them where ever you want on your computer. (images are already in .jpg format)
upload images from your computer to the internet either on your own website, your Myspace photo album or a free image host service. (ie. photobucket, etc.)

Displaying your images online:
to post images on message boards put the URL of the image between the image bb tags.

to post images on HTML based sites like MySpace put the URL of the image in the image HTML tag as follows.
<img src="URL HERE">

Share Snapshot via Wii: (must be using WiiConnect24)

Using the in game Post Office: (Friend must be on your Friend Code list)
While playing the game simply visit the Post Office window in your Town Hall, you can choose to send a letter to a friend (you can send to their Wii message board, email or even their cell phone) and of course remember to attach one of your pictures to the letter.

Using your Wii message board: (Friend must be in your Wii Address Book)
when on your Wii main menu click on the letter icon at the bottom right of the screen.
Click on the Address Book, then click on the name of the person you want to send a message to and then click on 'send message'.
(don't forget to attach the snapshot you want to share)

you can use the "Photo Channel" to view all images sent to your Wii Message Board, and those stored on an SD card.
