this is a feature they put into city folk. the more you run around the more your grass will wear out.you may start to notice paths where you walk/run the most. it will grow back slowley. so just a word of caution, take it easy and you won't end up with a desert town. you really don't want that in the winter because you will have no snow and no snow balls. i do not know if this effect happens when you have visitors or just with your own characters.

Are you able to lay designs on the ground like on AC:WW? and if so does this protect the grass underneath?
Just curious.

Yeah you can lay designs down but I'm not sure if it protects your grass or not. It didn't seem like it did for me but I didn't really keep track.

I really really HATE this new feature!!!! With 3 people playing on my game we have a nice desert and hardly any snow. I will not be able to do any snowmen on this game. I am glad that I still play my animal crossing wide world so I can play in the snow. I already have all of the snowman furniture but since I really do live in the desert it is nice to play in the snow... and LOL yesterday we really did have snow here in the high desert.

This feature is so annoying. If they want to be more "realistic" then the snow should repopulate on the ground when it snows. But it doesn't. It's getting harder and harder to make a snowman. I have one corner of town that has enough snow. So I have to try to get my snowballs there to make the snowmen.

i know how to get you greass to grow it is pain and will take several hours and you do not need a hack or anything
you need to do this twice
Okay first if you do not like to time travel don't bother to read this. So first thing you do is get some snacks and a few drinks this is going to take a while. Start up your wii with ACCF in. Click on Wii Button bottom left of your scree. Click Wii Settings. Click Calendar. Click Date. Change your date to May 1rst. Click Confirm Go back to main wii menu . Click on your ACCF game. Before you start your game make sure the date and time on game is same as your wii. If not change it on game to match. Start the game. There is no need to walk around at all. Just click the save icon on top right of scree. Save and quit. Go back to Wii menu. Change date to next day then go back to your game. The Game should now sync it self automatically. Keep doing this over and over until about June 30th. It is best during this time because it is th rainy season. Please remember your flowers will all die. If you have turnips they will all rot. Your animal friends will move away. Put your flowers in your house to preserve them..Good Luck
