One of my friends found Wal-Mart had put the games out on the shelf early, she bought it of course and then after she informed them that it was early.
The associate said that it didnt matter to him, as long as the computer let it ring out with out a warning, they (the employee's) werent held responsible.
I have also read around that others have found some at their wal-marts also.
So go out and check your local wal-marts folks.
I've also heard that there is some problem with playing the game after 10pm and before 8am. but havent been told exactly what the issue was. (hope it's just because of being before the game is supposed to start.)

One of my online friends found a copy at Fred Meyer and was able to buy it last night.

Actually, I'm not a kid. But I guess you were just being funny? I was out shopping today, and none of the stores I was at had the game out early. I wouldn't have bought it if they did. I'll be fine waiting until 10:00 tomorrow morning. But no one had them out in Springfield, IL that I saw (Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Shopko, Toys R Us...) My husband has all of his old systems too. That's the Atari VCS/2600, Odyssey 2, Intellivision, Atari 5200, Colecovision, Atar 7800, NES, Sega Master System, TurboGrafix 16, Sega Genesis, NEO-GEO, Super NES, Atari Jaguar, 3DO (Goldstar), Sega Saturn, Original Playstation, N64, Sega Dreamcast, PS2, GameCube, XBox, and of course the Wii, PS3 and XBox 360. He has quite a few of the handheld systems, but he's not big on making sure he has all of them. He just kept the ones he originally had. The only ones he still wants to get are the Fairchild Channel F and the TurboDuo. He got a TurboDuo when it first came out while he was in the Army. But he had to move quickly once when he was transferred to another post, and he couldn't take everything. So he gave the TurboDuo to someone else...he's still kicking himself about that. But we'll get another off eBay sometime. He still has his games for it. I wish we had room to disply the systems...but they are all in boxes in the closet right now. Welcome to the forum, by the way.

I didn't mean to offend, At 51 I'm still a kid:) this has taken off to be one suprise after another. from a single blip on the screen to full blown graffics, and color. getting difficult to see the real form rendered. its fantastic. I was floored when my son made a game on his TI86 calculator!<imgone>

I've heard that the street date was broken and have seen several people discussing getting it early on other AC forums. It is interesting that it was broken by so many stores. I never heard of any problems with playing it after certain times. I guess it doesn't matter now though.
