Perfect Town - GC Version

***** NEED HELP********

Ok. I have spent over two weeks trying to get my town to be "perfect" and I cant seem to do it. I am not sure what I am doing wrong or what needs to be corrected. This is what I have made sure of::

- Enough trees in every acre - no weeds!

- Each tree has its own space all the way around it and does not share a space with another tree. *Space = being able to dig with the shovel*

-Each tree has one space all the way around it - away from buildings, rocks, and present houses. *** Not sure if the bushes do or don't count as open spaces**

-There are all types of trees

-There is nothing in the ground (items, weeds, etc)

What do I need to do? THis is definitely much harder than the DS version for getting a perfect town. My only other concern is that I have some trees along the bushes..but you CAN drop items in the bushes as if they weren't there.. just cant dig.

That status I keep getting is "Yes, Yes.. things seem to be as they should. This is a level of satisfactory. WIth a little more effort, things could be better"

Sounds like you need to try and move trees away from the bushes so that you are able to dig on all four sides.

The message you are getting means you are as close as you can be to a perfect town but just 1 or 2 problems remain. so if you feel you have everything else in your town set to perfect, then go with your gut and try moving the trees close to the bushes.

Did you follow our groups guide on 'Perfect Town'? or any specific guide? or are you working it out on your own?

Also I want to point out that you need to be aware of how close trees are planted to 'signs' as these are locations where houses and visitors appear so even when a house is not there, it still needs to be treated as if one is there.

What I did to get a perfect town was plant as many trees as I could in each acre. Once they had all grown or died, I went to the wishing well and cut down one tree in the acre it specified until it said I had a perfect town. Of course, I was a flower-planting maniac, so all of my acres had a good amount of flowers, and these helped cancel out any weeds I might get growing in my town on a daily basis.
