Only 27 more days till AC CF!!!! I have my copy reserved at Target - got a cool looking gift card with AC villagers on it.
The release date is the 16th, but you can't buy it till the 18th right?

Wrong.
That's the problem with some stores, they 'claim' that release date is different than 'street date' but thats a lie, their store just gets their stock late.
That Is why I refuse to pre-order anything anymore, It is much easier to wait till the morning of release and shop around till you find a store that actually gets it on time.

So, my "reservation card" says that the game comes out on 11/16/08 - I can go to the store on that Sunday to try to get it? I thought Nintendo's actual date was the 18th. Why all the confusion? Why?   |

Nope, seems that I'm wrong. I double checked the dates - the 16th seems correct - but I'm not holding my breath for that date.

I stopped by one of the GameStop stores here in town this evening and asked them if they'd have AC:CF on Sunday or would it not be until Monday. They said they'd have it ready as soon as they opened at 10:00 am. I'm not going to hold my breath, but that would be awesome!! I'd love to have a whole day to play before having to go back to work on Monday.
